- Pull out the steering wheel (8-14 s).
- Using a Torx screwdriver, unscrew the two screws from the bottom (14-30 s).
- Gently remove the upper and lower covers of the steering column (30-36 s).
- Unscrew the breakaway screws by striking them with a flat screwdriver (36-55 s).
- Version when the key still turns the ignition switch (55-1:08 s):
- Insert the key into the ignition switch and turn it to the first position.
- Press the locking pin from above and pull out the ignition switch.
- Version when the key no longer turns the ignition switch (1:08-1:34 s):
- Punch out the locking pin from bottom to top until it completely pops out of the housing.
- Disconnect the ignition connector (1:34-1:42 s).
- Unclip the two latches of the immobilizer coil from the ignition switch and remove it (1:42 s – to the end).
