Skip to content
- Pull out the steering wheel.
- Unscrew the two screws from the bottom using a Torx screwdriver.
- Gently remove the upper and lower covers of the steering column.
- Disconnect the plugs from the immobilizer coil and ignition connector, then unclip the cable harness from below and move it aside.
- Unscrew the breakaway screws by striking them with a flat screwdriver.
- A) If the key no longer turns the ignition switch:
- Punch out the locking pin from bottom to top until it completely pops out of the housing.
- B) If the key still turns the ignition switch:
- Insert the key into the ignition switch and turn it to the first position.
- Press the locking pin from above and pull out the ignition switch.
