  1. Pull out the steering wheel.
  2. Remove the upper cover of the steering column.
  3. Using a Torx screwdriver, unscrew the screws from the bottom and from the left and right sides of the lower cover. Pull the housing down.
  4. Unscrew the small screw holding the module under the steering column.
  5. Disconnect the power plugs from the module.
  6. At the front of the module, use a rod to unclip the front latch. Press the second latch with your finger between the plugs at the back.
  7. Demonstration of disconnecting the module from above in point 6.
  8. Use a drill to drill out the breakaway screws (4.5 mm drill bit).
  9. Select a Torx bit slightly larger than the drilled hole and drive it into the screw, then unscrew it.
  10. Bend back the latches on the left and right sides, and remove the ignition switch. Disconnect the plug from the immobilizer coil.
